The company's knowledge as a reference
Past cases, contracts, agreements, relevant rulings and authorized internal documents can form a reference base for preparation, taking into account values, language, internal policies and approval criteria.

Rehearse the conversation. Structure the strategy. Prepare the decision. Fictitious case.
Why prepare
Preparation is a strategic investment and a source of competitive advantage. Those who come to the table without clear goals, alternatives and decision criteria are more exposed to pressure and improvisation. Newgotiator helps you understand the problem, ask the right questions and organize your choices before the decisive conversation.
Much of what we read or learn in a workshop fades without practice and reinforcement. Newgotiator connects training and application: self-assessments, evaluations, tips, reminders and checklists bring key concepts back into use for tomorrow's negotiation. Every new case becomes a chance to build skills.
More clarity to decide. Better preparation to talk. More capacity to build valuable agreements.
The cockpit
Just as a spreadsheet organizes data and calculations, Newgotiator organizes the dimensions of a negotiation. The cockpit brings together questions, analyses and tools to turn a complex situation into an action plan.
Describe the case and organize context, interests, constraints and goals. The method-guided chat helps you explore missing information, question assumptions and notice overlooked angles.
A dispute can look stuck because it was framed too narrowly. Explore new questions, separate positions from interests and build options that widen the room for agreement.
Practice difficult conversations, test arguments and prepare answers to objections. Like a coach preparing an athlete, Newgotiator proposes exercises so you reach the table with more confidence and clarity.
Turn the analysis into preparation sheets, checklists, action plans and reports. Set priorities, alternatives, criteria, possible concessions and next steps to guide the real negotiation.
Self-assessments and evaluations show which skills to develop. Configurable tips and reminders bring concepts back and encourage practice between negotiations.
After the negotiation, review decisions, commitments and results. See what worked, what needs to change and which lessons to take to the next case.
Your flight plan
The cockpit organizes goals, interests, options, decision criteria, risks and next steps. Sheets and checklists make the information easy to check during the negotiation, so the plan guides the conversation and follows its evolution.
Preparation is most useful when it also shows what you still need to know. Guiding questions reveal blind spots, test assumptions and reframe problems that seemed stuck.
After the negotiation
The evaluation framework looks at the process and the outcome, not only the price. The findings support broader assessment and meaningful benchmarking, and improve the next negotiation.
The method
The Newgotiation method organizes negotiation into four stages and ten elements. This structure connects reflection and action without erasing the complexity of each situation.
At each stage, Newgotiator shows which elements are solid, which are still hypotheses and what needs the most work before the next conversation.
Why a specialized solution
A good AI answer can help. Newgotiator's difference is to organize that support into a working process: understand the context, find gaps, reframe the problem, build options, rehearse conversations and turn the analysis into an action plan.
| General-purpose chat | Newgotiator | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A blank question | The Newgotiation structure: four stages and ten elements |
| The case | Starts over in every conversation | Case, decisions and plan stay in the cockpit and can be picked up again |
| What you take to the table | A text answer | Checklists, preparation sheets, Flight Plan, simulation and report |
| Learning | Depends on you coming back to it | Self-assessments, evaluations, reminders and lessons learned |
| Company context | Whatever you paste into the chat | Authorized knowledge base, culture and governance, set up in the corporate deployment |
Because Newgotiator's value lies in an architecture built for negotiating: method, organized knowledge, simulations, evaluations and a cockpit for preparation and follow-up. In a corporate deployment, this process can include the company's authorized knowledge base, culture and governance, configured together with your IT team.
No. AI expands your capacity to explore scenarios, organize information and rehearse conversations. The negotiator remains responsible for decisions, for checking the data and for the commitments made.
Your content is yours. It is used only to provide the service to you, and no one trains AI with it: not us, not OpenAI. Only you see your negotiations. Deleting a negotiation deletes its content; an account deletion request erases everything within 15 days. The providers and the countries where data is processed are listed in the Privacy Policy (in Portuguese).
Our forward deployed engineers (FDEs) work with your IT and governance teams to define the architecture, data segregation, authorized integrations and access rules. A dedicated environment or the client's own infrastructure, when included in the project, is defined and technically validated with your team.
The interface is available in English and Portuguese, and Newgotiator answers in the language you write in.
It depends on usage and the type of deployment. In the demo, our team presents the options for your case.
This comparison is between using a chat directly and the specialized workflow Newgotiator offers; it does not claim other products cannot offer customization, security or integrations.
For companies
Every organization has its own way of deciding, committing and building relationships. Newgotiator can be customized to include that context and support negotiations consistent with the company's identity and governance.
Past cases, contracts, agreements, relevant rulings and authorized internal documents can form a reference base for preparation, taking into account values, language, internal policies and approval criteria.
Our forward deployed engineers (FDEs) work with each client's IT and governance teams to define the architecture, data segregation, authorized integrations and access rules.
The corporate knowledge base remains the organization's property. The project defines where data is stored, how it is processed, who can access it and which providers, if any, take part in processing.
Cybersecurity, data segregation and governance are addressed from deployment. Access, retention, deletion, traceability and data protection controls are specified according to the contracted architecture and the client's requirements.
Deployment on the client's infrastructure or in a dedicated environment, when included in the project, is defined and technically validated with your team.
Talk to our teamEthics and results at the same table
Negotiating well includes how we treat people. Newgotiator puts ethics at the center of preparation and helps you phrase questions, messages and proposals with firmness, respect and moral elegance. Reframing a sentence can reduce tension and open room for dialogue.
The analysis considers legal limits, transparency, conflicts of interest and each party's responsibilities. Where relevant to the case, the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals offer an additional reference to assess social, environmental and economic impacts.
This reflection guides responsible decisions; it is not a compliance certification or a guarantee that an agreement is sustainable.
The book
Negotiating in the AI Era with the Newgotiation Method
A new approach to learning and practicing negotiation: continuous preparation, supported by technology, rather than occasional training. The aim is to help people simulate tomorrow's negotiation today, refresh their knowledge regularly, and apply a structured method to the situations they actually face.
The Reader's Kit includes checklists, a flight plan and a self-assessment. Newgotiator, presented in the appendix, puts this approach into practice.
Edited by Yann Duzert and Fabiano Gomes das Neves.
About Yann Duzert and the method
Newgotiator is built on the Newgotiation method, developed by Yann Duzert, and brings negotiation knowledge into an AI-assisted preparation experience. It brings research, training and professional practice closer together, with tools that apply to real situations.
We are building a hybrid of training, consulting and coaching, with an AI copilot supporting continuous learning and preparation. The value we seek to offer beyond general-purpose AI is a structured negotiation method, applied consistently before, during and after each negotiation.
AI expands the capacity to explore scenarios, organize information and rehearse conversations. The negotiator remains responsible for decisions, for checking the data and for the commitments made.
